- Proverbs 20 2:1 - My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
בני אמ־תקח אמרי ומצותי תצפן אתך בֵּן son Afflicted, age, (Ahoh-.. לָקַח Accept, bring, buy, car.. [8799] אֵמֶר Answer, × appointed unt.. צָפַן Esteem, hide(-den one) .. [8799] מִצְוָה (which was) commanded(-.. - Deuteronomy 5 16:3 - Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction ; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste : that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
לא־תאכל עליו חמץ שׁבעת ימים תאכל־עליו מצות לחם עני כי בחפזון יצאת מארץ מצרים למען תזכר את־יום צאתך מארץ מצרים כל ימי חייך - 1 Kings 11 18:18 - And he answered , I have not troubled Israel ; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
ויאמר לא עכרתי את־ישׂראל כי אמ־אתה ובית אביך בעזבכם את־מצות יהוה ותלך אחרי הבעלים - Joshua 6 22:5 - But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
רק שׁמרו מאד לעשׂות את־המצוה ואת־התורה אשׁר צוה אתכם משׁה עבד־יהוה לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיכם וללכת בכל־דרכיו ולשׁמר מצותיו ולדבקה־בו ולעבדו בכל־לבבכם ובכל־נפשׁכם - 2 Chronicles 14 8:14 - And he appointed , according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required : the porters also by their courses at every gate : for so had David the man of God commanded.
