- Exodus 2 3:2 - And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush : and he looked , and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed .
וירא מלאך יהוה אליו בלבת־אשׁ מתוך הסנה וירא והנה הסנה בער באשׁ והסנה איננו אכל - Ezekiel 26 32:21 - The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down , they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
ידברו־לו אלי גבורים מתוך שׁאול את־עזריו ירדו שׁכבו הערלים חללי־חרב - Numbers 4 16:21 - Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

והנביא כי־יפתה ודבר דבר אני יהוה פתיתי את הנביא ההוא ונטיתי את־ידי עליו והשׁמדתיו מתוך עמי ישׂראל - Jeremiah 24 44:7 - Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel ; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling , out of Judah, to leave you none to remain ;
ועתה כה־אמר יהוה אלהי צבאות אלהי ישׂראל למה אתם עשׂים רעה גדולה אל־נפשׁתכם להכרית לכם אישׁ־ואשׁה עולל ויונק מתוך יהודה לבלתי הותיר לכם שׁארית
