- 2 Samuel 10 13:12 - And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel : do not thou this folly.
ותאמר לו אל־אחי אל־תענני כי לא־יעשׂה כן בישׂראל אל־תעשׂה את־הנבלה הזאת - Isaiah 23 9:17 - Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows : for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer , and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away , but his hand is stretched out still .
על־כן על־בחוריו לא־ישׂמח אדני ואת־יתמיו ואת־אלמנתיו לא ירחם כי כלו חנף ומרע וכל־פה דבר נבלה בכל־זאת לא־שׁב אפו ועוד ידו נטויה - 1 Kings 11 13:25 - And, behold, men passed by , and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase : and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt .
והנה אנשׁים עברים ויראו את־הנבלה משׁלכת בדרך ואת־האריה עמד אצל הנבלה ויבאו וידברו בעיר אשׁר הנביא הזקן ישׁב בה - Judges 7 19:23 - And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly ; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
ויצא אליהם האישׁ בעל הבית ויאמר אלהם אל־אחי אל־תרעו נא אחרי אשׁר־בא האישׁ הזה אל־ביתי אל־תעשׂו את־הנבלה הזאת - 1 Kings 11 13:24 - And when he was gone , a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
וילך וימצאהו אריה בדרך וימיתהו ותהי נבלתו משׁלכת בדרך והחמור עמד אצלה והאריה עמד אצל הנבלה
