- Leviticus 3 11:24 - And for these ye shall be unclean : whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
ולאלה תטמאו כל־הנגע בנבלתם יטמא עד־הערב - 2 Samuel 10 1:12 - And they mourned , and wept , and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel ; because they were fallen by the sword.
ויספדו ויבכו ויצמו עד־הערב על־שׁאול ועל־יהונתן בנו ועל־עם יהוה ועל־בית ישׂראל כי נפלו בחרב - Judges 7 20:23 -
ויעלו בני־ישׂראל ויבכו לפני־יהוה עד־הערב וישׁאלו ביהוה לאמר האוסיף לגשׁת למלחמה עמ־בני בנימן אחי ויאמר יהוה עלו אליו - Leviticus 3 11:32 - And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall , it shall be unclean ; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done , it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even ; so it shall be cleansed .
וכל אשׁר־יפל־עליו מהם במתם יטמא מכל־כלי־עץ או בגד או־עור או שׂק כל־כלי אשׁר־יעשׂה מלאכה בהם במים יובא וטמא עד־הערב וטהר - Leviticus 3 11:25 - And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
וכל־הנשׂא מנבלתם יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד־הערב
