- Job 18 8:12 - Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down , it withereth before any other herb.
עדנו באבו לא יקטף ולפני כל־חציר ייבשׁ אֵב Greenness, fruit קָטַף Crop off, cut down (up).. [8735] יָבֵשׁ Be ashamed, clean, be c.. [8799] פָּנִים presence Accept, (a-, be-)fore(.. חָצִיר Grass, hay, herb, leek - Ezekiel 26 17:22 - Thus saith the Lord GOD ; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent :
כה אמר אדני יהוה ולקחתי אני מצמרת הארז הרמה ונתתי מראשׁ ינקותיו רך אקטף ושׁתלתי אני על הר־גבה ותלול - Ezekiel 26 17:4 - He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick ; he set it in a city of merchants .
את ראשׁ יניקותיו קטף ויביאהו אל־ארץ כנען בעיר רכלים שׂמו
