- 1 Samuel 9 4:3 - And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said , Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines ? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies .
ויבא העם אל־המחנה ויאמרו זקני ישׂראל למה נגפנו יהוה היום לפני פלשׁתים נקחה אלינו משׁלה את־ארון ברית יהוה ויבא בקרבנו וישׁענו מכף איבינו - Joshua 6 18:9 - And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
וילכו האנשׁים ויעברו בארץ ויכתבוה לערים לשׁבעה חלקים על־ספר ויבאו אל־יהושׁע אל־המחנה שׁלה - Ezekiel 26 20:47 - And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD ; Thus saith the Lord GOD ; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree : the flaming flame shall not be quenched , and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
ואמרת ליער הנגב שׁמע דבר־יהוה כה־אמר אדני יהוה הנני מצית־בך אשׁ ואכלה בך כל־עצ־לח וכל־עץ יבשׁ לא־תכבה להבת שׁלהבת ונצרבו־בה כל־פנים מנגב צפונה - Daniel 27 4:4 - I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace :
אנה נבוכדנצר שׁלה הוית בביתי ורענן בהיכלי אֲנָא I, as for me נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר Nebuchadnezzar הָוָא Be, become, behold, c.. [8754] שְׁלָה At rest [8752] בַּיִת House רַעֲנַן Flourishing הֵיכַל Palace, temple - Joshua 6 18:10 - And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD : and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.
וישׁלך להם יהושׁע גורל בשׁלה לפני יהוה ויחלק־שׁם יהושׁע את־הארץ לבני ישׂראל כמחלקתם
