- Judges 7 8:26 - And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold ; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels ' necks.
ויהי משׁקל נזמי הזהב אשׁר שׁאל אלף ושׁבע־מאות זהב לבד מנ־השׂהרנים והנטפות ובגדי הארגמן שׁעל מלכי מדין ולבד מנ־הענקות אשׁר בצוארי גמליהם - Isaiah 23 40:12 - Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance ?
