- Isaiah 23 39:2 - And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures : there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
וישׂמח עליהם חזקיהו ויראם את־בית נכתה את־הכסף ואת־הזהב ואת־הבשׂמים ואת השׁמן הטוב ואת כל־בית כליו ואת כל־אשׁר נמצא באצרתיו לא־היה דבר אשׁר לא־הראם חזקיהו בביתו ובכל־ממשׁלתו - 1 Kings 11 10:10 - And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store , and precious stones : there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
ותתן למלך מאה ועשׂרים ככר זהב ובשׂמים הרבה מאד ואבן יקרה לא־בא כבשׂם ההוא עוד לרב אשׁר־נתנה מלכת־שׁבא למלך שׁלמה - Isaiah 23 5:20 - Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil ; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness ; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter !
הוי האמרים לרע טוב ולטוב רע שׂמים חשׁך לאור ואור לחשׁך שׂמים מר למתוק ומתוק למר - 1 Kings 11 10:2 - And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones : and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
ותבא ירושׁלמה בחיל כבד מאד גמלים נשׂאים בשׂמים וזהב רב־מאד ואבן יקרה ותבא אל־שׁלמה ותדבר אליו את כל־אשׁר היה עמ־לבבה - 2 Chronicles 14 9:24 - And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
