- 1 Samuel 9 26:25 - Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David : thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail . So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
ויאמר שׁאול אל־דוד ברוך אתה בני דוד גם עשׂה תעשׂה וגם יכל תוכל וילך דוד לדרכו ושׁאול שׁב למקומו - Exodus 2 20:4 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth :
לא תעשׂה־לך פסל וכל־תמונה אשׁר בשׁמים ממעל ואשׁר בארץ מתחת ואשׁר במים מתחת לארץ - Deuteronomy 5 16:8 - Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread : and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God : thou shalt do no work therein.
שׁשׁת ימים תאכל מצות וביום השׁביעי עצרת ליהוה אלהיך לא תעשׂה מלאכה - Leviticus 3 2:11 - No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven : for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
כל־המנחה אשׁר תקריבו ליהוה לא תעשׂה חמץ כי כל־שׂאר וכל־דבשׁ לא־תקטירו ממנו אשׁה ליהוה - Deuteronomy 5 5:14 - But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God : in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates ; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
