- 2 Kings 12 17:24 - And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel : and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
ויבא מלכ־אשׁור מבבל ומכותה ומעוא ומחמת וספרוים וישׁב בערי שׁמרון תחת בני ישׂראל וירשׁו את־שׁמרון וישׁבו בעריה - Isaiah 23 11:11 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left , from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
