- Indemnify - v. t. - To save harmless; to secure against loss or damage; to insure.

- Warrant - n. - To secure to, as a purchaser of goods, the title to the same; to indemnify against loss.
- Repair - v. t. - To make amends for, as for an injury, by an equivalent; to indemnify for; as, to repair a loss or damage.
- Policy - n. - The writing or instrument in which a contract of insurance is embodied; an instrument in writing containing the terms and conditions on which one party engages to indemnify another against loss arising from certain hazards, perils, or risks to which his person or property may be exposed.
