- Isaiah 23 10:26 - And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb : and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
ועורר עליו יהוה צבאות שׁוט כמכת מדין בצור עורב ומטהו על־הים ונשׂאו בדרך מצרים - Numbers 4 17:6 - And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one , according to their fathers ' houses, even twelve rods : and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
וידבר משׁה אל־בני ישׂראל ויתנו אליו כל־נשׂיאיהם מטה לנשׂיא אחד מטה לנשׂיא אחד לבית אבתם שׁנים עשׂר מטות ומטה אהרן בתוך מטותם - Numbers 4 2:29 - Then the tribe of Naphtali : and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.

כי לקחו מטה בני הראובני לבית אבתם ומטה בני־הגדי לבית אבתם וחצי מטה מנשׁה לקחו נחלתם - Numbers 4 2:22 - Then the tribe of Benjamin : and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
