- Isaiah 23 19:18 - In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts ; one shall be called , The city of destruction.
ביום ההוא יהיו חמשׁ ערים בארץ מצרים מדברות שׂפת כנען ונשׁבעות ליהוה צבאות עיר ההרס יאמר לאחת - Leviticus 3 6:3 - Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely ; in any of all these that a man doeth , sinning therein :
או־מצא אבדה וכחשׁ בה ונשׁבע על־שׁקר על־אחת מכל אשׁר־יעשׂה האדם לחטא בהנה - Jeremiah 24 4:2 - And thou shalt swear , The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness ; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory .
