- Joshua 6 2:1 - And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying , Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went , and came into an harlot's house , named Rahab, and lodged there.
וישׁלח יהושׁע־בנ־נון מנ־השׁטים שׁנימ־אנשׁים מרגלים חרשׁ לאמר לכו ראו את־הארץ ואת־יריחו וילכו ויבאו בית־אשׁה זונה ושׁמה רחב וישׁכבו־שׁמה - Micah 33 6:5 - O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted , and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal ; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
