מדבר באפל יהלך מקטב ישׁוד צהרים דֶּבֶר Murrain, pestilence, pl.. הָלַךְ (all) along, apace, beh.. [8799] אֹפֶל Darkness, obscurity, pr.. קֶטֶב Destroying, destruction שׁוּד Waste [8799] צֹהַר Midday, noon(-day, -tid.. - Hosea 28 13:14 - I will ransom them from the power of the grave ; I will redeem them from death : O death, I will be thy plagues ; O grave, I will be thy destruction : repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
מיד שׁאול אפדם ממות אגאלם אהי דבריך מות אהי קטבך שׁאול נחם יסתר מעיני - Isaiah 23 28:2 - Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing , shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
