- Jeremiah 24 14:22 - Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain ? or can the heavens give showers ? art not thou he, O LORD our God ? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
הישׁ בהבלי הגוים מגשׁמים ואמ־השׁמים יתנו רבבים הלא אתה־הוא יהוה אלהינו ונקוה־לך כי־אתה עשׂית את־כל־אלה - Jeremiah 24 3:3 - Therefore the showers have been withholden , and there hath been no latter rain ; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed .
