- Ezekiel 26 12:19 - And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel ; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
ואמרת אל־עם הארץ כה־אמר אדני יהוה ליושׁבי ירושׁלם אל־אדמת ישׂראל לחמם בדאגה יאכלו ומימיהם בשׁממון ישׁתו למען תשׁם ארצה ממלאה מחמס כל־הישׁבים בה - Judges 7 18:10 - When ye go , ye shall come unto a people secure , and to a large land : for God hath given it into your hands ; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.
כבאכם תבאו אל־עם בטח והארץ רחבת ידים כי־נתנה אלהים בידכם מקום אשׁר אינ־שׁם מחסור כל־דבר אשׁר בארץ - Psalms 19 105:13 - When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people ;
ויתהלכו מגוי אל־גוי מממלכה אל־עם אחר - Ezekiel 26 26:20 - When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited ; and I shall set glory in the land of the living ;
והורדתיך את־יורדי בור אל־עם עולם והושׁבתיך בארץ תחתיות כחרבות מעולם את־יורדי בור למען לא תשׁבי ונתתי צבי בארץ חיים - Ezekiel 26 38:12 - To take a spoil, and to take a prey ; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited , and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
