- 1 Samuel 9 5:6 - But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods , even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
ותכבד יד־יהוה אל־האשׁדודים וישׁמם ויך אתם בעפלים את־אשׁדוד ואת־גבוליה - 1 Samuel 9 5:12 - And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods : and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
והאנשׁים אשׁר לא־מתו הכו בעפלים ותעל שׁועת העיר השׁמים - Nehemiah 16 11:21 - But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel : and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
והנתינים ישׁבים בעפל וציחא וגשׁפא על־הנתינים נָתִין Nethinims יָשַׁב "to dwell/sit" (make to) abide(-ing), ..
