וטהרתים מכל־נכר ואעמידה משׁמרות לכהנים וללוים אישׁ במלאכתו - 2 Kings 12 5:12 - Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel ? may I not wash in them, and be clean ? So he turned and went away in a rage.
הלא טוב אבנה ופרפר נהרות דמשׂק מכל מימי ישׂראל הלא־ארחץ בהם וטהרתי ויפן וילך בחמה - Ezekiel 26 37:23 - Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions : but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned , and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
