- Esther 17 6:6 - So Haman came in . And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour ? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?
ויבוא המן ויאמר לו המלך מה־לעשׂות באישׁ אשׁר המלך חפץ ביקרו ויאמר המן בלבו למי יחפץ המלך לעשׂות יקר יותר ממני - 2 Samuel 10 23:5 - Although my house be not so with God ; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure : for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow .
כי־לא־כן ביתי עמ־אל כי ברית עולם שׂם לי ערוכה בכל ושׁמרה כי־כל־ישׁעי וכל־חפץ כי־לא יצמיח - 1 Kings 11 21:6 - And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money ; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered , I will not give thee my vineyard.
וידבר אליה כי־אדבר אל־נבות היזרעאלי ואמר לו תנה־לי את־כרמך בכסף או אמ־חפץ אתה אתנה־לך כרם תחתיו ויאמר לא־אתן לך את־כרמי - Ecclesiastes 21 5:4 - When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools : pay that which thou hast vowed .
כאשׁר תדר נדר לאלהים אל־תאחר לשׁלמו כי אין חפץ בכסילים את אשׁר־תדר שׁלם - Psalms 19 5:4 - For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness : neither shall evil dwell with thee.
