- Genesis 1 37:13 - And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem ? come , and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.
ויאמר ישׂראל אל־יוסף הלוא אחיך רעים בשׁכם לכה ואשׁלחך אליהם ויאמר לו הנני - Joshua 6 24:25 - So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
ויכרת יהושׁע ברית לעם ביום ההוא וישׂם לו חק ומשׁפט בשׁכם - Judges 7 9:41 - And Abimelech dwelt at Arumah : and Zebul thrust out Gaal and his brethren, that they should not dwell in Shechem.
