- Jeremiah 24 52:7 - Then the city was broken up , and all the men of war fled , and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden ; and they went by the way of the plain.
ותבקע העיר וכל־אנשׁי המלחמה יברחו ויצאו מהעיר לילה דרך שׁער בינ־החמתים אשׁר על־גן המלך וכשׂדים על־העיר סביב וילכו דרך הערבה - Isaiah 23 22:11 - Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool : but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
ומקוה עשׂיתם בין החמתים למי הברכה הישׁנה ולא הבטתם אל־עשׂיה ויצרה מרחוק לא ראיתם - Jeremiah 24 39:4 - And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled , and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls : and he went out the way of the plain.
