- Jeremiah 24 40:15 - Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying , Let me go , I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered , and the remnant in Judah perish ?
ויוחנן בנ־קרח אמר אל־גדליהו בסתר במצפה לאמר אלכה נא ואכה את־ישׁמעאל בנ־נתניה ואישׁ לא ידע למה יככה נפשׁ ונפצו כל־יהודה הנקבצים אליך ואבדה שׁארית יהודה - Joshua 6 19:33 - And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum ; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan :
