- Ecclesiastes 21 5:6 - Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin ; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error : wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands ?
אל־תתן את־פיך לחטיא את־בשׂרך ואל־תאמר לפני המלאך כי שׁגגה היא למה יקצף האלהים על־קולך וחבל את־מעשׂה ידיך - Exodus 2 16:20 - Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses ; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank : and Moses was wroth with them.
ולא־שׁמעו אל־משׁה ויותרו אנשׁים ממנו עד־בקר וירם תולעים ויבאשׁ ויקצף עלהם משׁה - Leviticus 3 10:6 - And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes ; lest ye die , and lest wrath come upon all the people : but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled .
ויאמר משׁה אל־אהרן ולאלעזר ולאיתמר בניו ראשׁיכם אל־תפרעו ובגדיכם לא־תפרמו ולא תמתו ועל כל־העדה יקצף ואחיכם כל־בית ישׂראל יבכו את־השׂרפה אשׁר שׂרף יהוה - 2 Kings 12 13:19 - And the man of God was wroth with him, and said , Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times ; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice .
