- 2 Samuel 10 24:17 - And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said , Lo, I have sinned , and I have done wickedly : but these sheep, what have they done ? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.
ויאמר דוד אל־יהוה בראתו את־המלאך המכה בעם ויאמר הנה אנכי חטאתי ואנכי העויתי ואלה הצאן מה עשׂו תהי נא ידך בי ובבית אבי - Zechariah 38 4:1 - And the angel that talked with me came again , and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
וישׁב המלאך הדבר בי ויעירני כאישׁ אשׁר־יעור משׁנתו - Zechariah 38 1:14 - So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying , Thus saith the LORD of hosts ; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
ויאמר אלי המלאך הדבר בי קרא לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות קנאתי לירושׁלם ולציון קנאה גדולה - 2 Samuel 10 11:22 - So the messenger went , and came and shewed David all that Joab had sent him for.
וילך המלאך ויבא ויגד לדוד את כל־אשׁר שׁלחו יואב - 2 Kings 12 10:8 - And there came a messenger, and told him, saying , They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said , Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
