- Hosea 28 11:3 - I taught Ephraim also to go , taking them by their arms ; but they knew not that I healed them.
ואנכי תרגלתי לאפרים קחם על־זרועתיו ולא ידעו כי רפאתים - Joshua 6 17:9 - And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river : these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh : the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea :
וירד הגבול נחל קנה נגבה לנחל ערים האלה לאפרים בתוך ערי מנשׁה וגבול מנשׁה מצפון לנחל ויהי תצאתיו הימה - Genesis 1 50:23 - And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation: the children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were brought up upon Joseph's knees.
וירא יוסף לאפרים בני שׁלשׁים גם בני מכיר בנ־מנשׁה ילדו על־ברכי יוסף - Hosea 28 5:12 - Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
ואני כעשׁ לאפרים וכרקב לבית יהודה אֶפְרַיִם Ephraim, Ephraimites עָשׁ Moth בַּיִת Court, daughter, door, .. יְהוּדָה Judah רָקָב Rottenness (thing) - Joshua 6 17:10 - Southward it was Ephraim's, and northward it was Manasseh's, and the sea is his border ; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.
