- Jeremiah 24 51:11 - Make bright the arrows ; gather the shields : the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes : for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
הברו החצים מלאו השׁלטים העיר יהוה את־רוח מלכי מדי כי־על־בבל מזמתו להשׁחיתה כי־נקמת יהוה היא נקמת היכלו - 1 Chronicles 13 21:15 - And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying , the LORD beheld , and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed , It is enough, stay now thine hand.
