- Numbers 4 5:6 - Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit , to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty ;
דבר אל־בני ישׂראל אישׁ או־אשׁה כי יעשׂו מכל־חטאת האדם למעל מעל ביהוה ואשׁמה הנפשׁ ההוא - Leviticus 3 16:34 - And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
והיתה־זאת לכם לחקת עולם לכפר על־בני ישׂראל מכל־חטאתם אחת בשׁנה ויעשׂ כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־משׁה - Ezekiel 26 18:21 - But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed , and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live , he shall not die .
והרשׁע כי ישׁוב מכל־חטאתו אשׁר עשׂה ושׁמר את־כל־חקותי ועשׂה משׁפט וצדקה חיה יחיה לא ימות
