- Isaiah 23 39:1 - At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah : for he had heard that he had been sick , and was recovered .
בעת ההוא שׁלח מרדך בלאדן בנ־בלאדן מלכ־בבל ספרים ומנחה אל־חזקיהו וישׁמע כי חלה ויחזק - Jeremiah 24 50:2 - Declare ye among the nations, and publish , and set up a standard ; publish , and conceal not: say , Babylon is taken , Bel is confounded , Merodach is broken in pieces ; her idols are confounded , her images are broken in pieces .
הגידו בגוים והשׁמיעו ושׂאו־נס השׁמיעו אל־תכחדו אמרו נלכדה בבל הבישׁ בל חת מרדך הבישׁו עצביה חתו גלוליה - Jeremiah 24 52:31 - And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison ,
ויהי בשׁלשׁים ושׁבע שׁנה לגלות יהויכן מלכ־יהודה בשׁנים עשׂר חדשׁ בעשׂרים וחמשׁה לחדשׁ נשׂא אויל מרדך מלך בבל בשׁנת מלכתו את־ראשׁ יהויכין מלכ־יהודה ויצא אותו מבית הכליא - 2 Kings 12 25:27 - And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison ;
