- Jeremiah 24 37:1 - And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.
וימלכ־מלך צדקיהו בנ־יאשׁיהו תחת כניהו בנ־יהויקים אשׁר המליך נבוכדראצר מלכ־בבל בארץ יהודה - Ezekiel 26 23:15 - Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity :
חגורי אזור במתניהם סרוחי טבולים בראשׁיהם מראה שׁלשׁים כלם דמות בני־בבל כשׂדים ארץ מולדתם - Ezra 15 7:9 - For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.
כי באחד לחדשׁ הראשׁון הוא יסד המעלה מבבל ובאחד לחדשׁ החמישׁי בא אל־ירושׁלם כיד־אלהיו הטובה עליו - Jeremiah 24 51:60 - So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.
ויכתב ירמיהו את כל־הרעה אשׁר־תבוא אל־בבל אל־ספר אחד את כל־הדברים האלה הכתבים אל־בבל - Daniel 27 3:12 - There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego ; these men, O king, have not regarded thee : they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up .
