- Nahum 34 3:6 - And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile , and will set thee as a gazingstock.
והשׁלכתי עליך שׁקצים ונבלתיך ושׂמתיך כראי - 2 Kings 12 23:24 - Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away , that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
וגם את־האבות ואת־הידענים ואת־התרפים ואת־הגללים ואת כל־השׁקצים אשׁר נראו בארץ יהודה ובירושׁלם בער יאשׁיהו למען הקים את־דברי התורה הכתבים על־הספר אשׁר מצא חלקיהו הכהן בית יהוה - Exodus 2 22:6 - If fire break out , and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution .
כי־תצא אשׁ ומצאה קצים ונאכל גדישׁ או הקמה או השׂדה שׁלם ישׁלם המבער את־הבערה - Jeremiah 24 12:13 - They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns : they have put themselves to pain , but shall not profit : and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
זרעו חטים וקצים קצרו נחלו לא יועלו ובשׁו מתבואתיכם מחרון אפ־יהוה
