- Exodus 2 25:33 - Three bowls made like unto almonds , with a knop and a flower in one branch ; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower : so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
שׁלשׁה גבעים משׁקדים בקנה האחד כפתר ופרח ושׁלשׁה גבעים משׁקדים בקנה האחד כפתר ופרח כן לשׁשׁת הקנים היצאים מנ־המנרה - Numbers 4 17:8 - And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness ; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded , and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
ויהי ממחרת ויבא משׁה אל־אהל העדות והנה פרח מטה־אהרן לבית לוי ויצא פרח ויצץ ציץ ויגמל שׁקדים - Genesis 1 43:11 - And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds :
