- Isaiah 23 10:26 - And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb : and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
ועורר עליו יהוה צבאות שׁוט כמכת מדין בצור עורב ומטהו על־הים ונשׂאו בדרך מצרים - Isaiah 23 30:6 - The burden of the beasts of the south : into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
