- Genesis 1 2:19 - And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air ; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
ויצר יהוה אלהים מנ־האדמה כל־חית השׂדה ואת כל־עוף השׁמים ויבא אל־האדם לראות מה־יקרא־לו וכל אשׁר יקרא־לו האדם נפשׁ חיה הוא שׁמו - Malachi 39 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
הביאו את־כל־המעשׂר אל־בית האוצר ויהי טרף בביתי ובחנוני נא בזאת אמר יהוה צבאות אמ־לא אפתח לכם את ארבות השׁמים והריקתי לכם ברכה עד־בלי־די - 1 Kings 11 8:27 - But will God indeed dwell on the earth ? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded ?
כי האמנם ישׁב אלהים על־הארץ הנה השׁמים ושׁמי השׁמים לא יכלכלוך אף כי־הבית הזה אשׁר בניתי - 1 Kings 11 8:32 - Then hear thou in heaven, and do , and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head ; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
ואתה תשׁמע השׁמים ועשׂית ושׁפטת את־עבדיך להרשׁיע רשׁע לתת דרכו בראשׁו ולהצדיק צדיק לתת לו כצדקתו - 2 Chronicles 14 6:18 - But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth ? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built !
