- Ecclesiastes 21 1:7 - All the rivers run into the sea ; yet the sea is not full ; unto the place from whence the rivers come , thither they return again .
כל־הנחלים הלכים אל־הים והים איננו מלא אל־מקום שׁהנחלים הלכים שׁם הם שׁבים ללכת - 2 Chronicles 14 4:4 - It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east : and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
עומד על־שׁנים עשׂר בקר שׁלשׁה פנים צפונה ושׁלושׁה פנים ימה ושׁלשׁה פנים נגבה ושׁלשׁה פנים מזרחה והים עליהם מלמעלה וכל־אחריהם ביתה - Joshua 6 23:4 - Behold , I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain , to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off , even unto the great sea westward .
