- Genesis 1 10:9 - He was a mighty hunter before the LORD : wherefore it is said , Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
הוא־היה גבר־ציד לפני יהוה על־כן יאמר כנמרד גבור ציד לפני יהוה - Hosea 28 13:7 - Therefore I will be unto them as a lion : as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
ואהי להם כמו־שׁחל כנמר על־דרך אשׁור שַׁחַל (fierce) lion נָמֵר Leopard דֶּרֶךְ Along, away, because of.. שׁוּר Behold, lay wait, look,.. [8799] - Daniel 27 7:6 - After this I beheld , and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl ; the beast had also four heads ; and dominion was given to it.
