- Genesis 1 4:11 - And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand ;
ועתה ארור אתה מנ־האדמה אשׁר פצתה את־פיה לקחת את־דמי אחיך מידך - Genesis 1 4:10 - And he said , What hast thou done ? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
ויאמר מה עשׂית קול דמי אחיך צעקים אלי מנ־האדמה - Genesis 1 5:29 - And he called his name Noah, saying , This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed .
ויקרא את־שׁמו נח לאמר זה ינחמנו ממעשׂנו ומעצבון ידינו מנ־האדמה אשׁר אררה יהוה - Genesis 1 2:9 - And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food ; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
