- Numbers 4 31:28 - And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle : one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep :
והרמת מכס ליהוה מאת אנשׁי המלחמה היצאים לצבא אחד נפשׁ מחמשׁ המאות מנ־האדם ומנ־הבקר ומנ־החמרים ומנ־הצאן - 1 Kings 11 9:21 - Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy , upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.
