- Numbers 4 22:6 - Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people ; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail , that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land : for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed , and he whom thou cursest is cursed .
ועתה לכה־נא ארה־לי את־העם הזה כי־עצום הוא ממני אולי אוכל נכה־בו ואגרשׁנו מנ־הארץ כי ידעתי את אשׁר־תברך מברך ואשׁר תאר יואר - Exodus 2 23:30 - By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased , and inherit the land.
מעט מעט אגרשׁנו מפניך עד אשׁר תפרה ונחלת את־הארץ - Exodus 2 23:29 - I will not drive them out from before thee in one year ; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
