- Numbers 4 23:3 - And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go : peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.
ויאמר בלעם לבלק התיצב על־עלתך ואלכה אולי יקרה יהוה לקראתי ודבר מה־יראני והגדתי לך וילך שׁפי - 2 Samuel 10 16:12 - It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction , and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
