- Nehemiah 16 9:16 - But they and our fathers dealt proudly , and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
והם ואבתינו הזידו ויקשׁו את־ערפם ולא שׁמעו אל־מצותיך - Nehemiah 16 9:34 - Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them.
ואת־מלכינו שׂרינו כהנינו ואבתינו לא עשׂו תורתך ולא הקשׁיבו אל־מצותיך ולעדותיך אשׁר העידת בהם - Psalms 19 119:48 - My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved ; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
