- Isaiah 23 2:18 - And the idols he shall utterly abolish .
והאלילים כליל יחלף אֱלִיל Idol, no value, thing o.. כָּלִיל All, every whit, flame,.. חָלַף Abolish, alter, change,.. [8799] - Isaiah 23 2:8 - Their land also is full of idols ; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made :
ותמלא ארצו אלילים למעשׂה ידיו ישׁתחוו לאשׁר עשׂו אצבעתיו - Isaiah 23 19:3 - And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
ונבקה רוח־מצרים בקרבו ועצתו אבלע ודרשׁו אל־האלילים ואל־האטים ואל־האבות ואל־הידענים - Isaiah 23 31:7 - For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
כי ביום ההוא ימאסון אישׁ אלילי כספו ואלילי זהבו אשׁר עשׂו לכם ידיכם חטא - Isaiah 23 10:11 - Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols ?
הלא כאשׁר עשׂיתי לשׁמרון ולאליליה כן אעשׂה לירושׁלם ולעצביה
