- 1 Kings 11 17:12 - And she said , As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse : and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die .
ותאמר חי־יהוה אלהיך אמ־ישׁ־לי מעוג כי אמ־מלא כפ־קמח בכד ומעט־שׁמן בצפחת והנני מקשׁשׁת שׁנים עצים ובאתי ועשׂיתיהו לי ולבני ואכלנהו ומתנו - Nehemiah 16 13:14 - Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.
זכרה־לי אלהי על־זאת ואל־תמח חסדי אשׁר עשׂיתי בבית אלהי ובמשׁמריו - 1 Kings 11 18:36 - And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near , and said , LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
ויהי בעלות המנחה ויגשׁ אליהו הנביא ויאמר יהוה אלהי אברהם יצחק וישׂראל היום יודע כי־אתה אלהים בישׂראל ואני עבדך ובדבריך עשׂיתי את כל־הדברים האלה - Nehemiah 16 5:15 - But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver ; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people : but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
והפחות הראשׁנים אשׁר־לפני הכבידו על־העם ויקחו מהם בלחם ויין אחר כספ־שׁקלים ארבעים גם נעריהם שׁלטו על־העם ואני לא־עשׂיתי כן מפני יראת אלהים - Ezekiel 26 16:47 - Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations : but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
