- 2 Chronicles 14 36:16 - But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
ויהיו מלעבים במלאכי האלהים ובוזים דבריו ומתעתעים בנבאיו עד עלות חמת־יהוה בעמו עד־לאין מרפא - Malachi 39 1:6 - A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master : if then I be a father, where is mine honour ? and if I be a master, where is my fear ? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say , Wherein have we despised thy name ?
בן יכבד אב ועבד אדניו ואמ־אב אני איה כבודי ואמ־אדונים אני איה מוראי אמר יהוה צבאות לכם הכהנים בוזי שׁמי ואמרתם במה בזינו את־שׁמך - Job 18 32:6 - And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said , I am young , and ye are very old ; wherefore I was afraid , and durst not shew you mine opinion.
