- Joshua 6 13:2 - This is the land that yet remaineth : all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
זאת הארץ הנשׁארת כל־גלילות הפלשׁתים וכל־הגשׁורי אֶרֶץ earth × common, country, eart.. שָׁאַר Leave, (be) left, let, .. [8737] גְלִילָה Border, coast, country פְּלִשְׁתִּי Philistine גְּשׁוּרִי Geshuri, Geshurites - Joshua 6 13:13 - Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites : but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
ולא הורישׁו בני ישׂראל את־הגשׁורי ואת־המעכתי וישׁב גשׁור ומעכת בקרב ישׂראל עד היום הזה - 1 Samuel 9 13:9 - And Saul said , Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
ויאמר שׁאול הגשׁו אלי העלה והשׁלמים ויעל העלה - Joshua 6 12:5 - And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
ומשׁל בהר חרמון ובסלכה ובכל־הבשׁן עד־גבול הגשׁורי והמעכתי וחצי הגלעד גבול סיחון מלכ־חשׁבון - 1 Samuel 9 27:8 - And David and his men went up , and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites : for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
ויעל דוד ואנשׁיו ויפשׁטו אל־הגשׁורי והגרזי והעמלקי כי הנה ישׁבות הארץ אשׁר מעולם בואך שׁורה ועד־ארץ מצרים
