- Lamentations 25 1:5 - Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper ; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions : her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
היו צריה לראשׁ איביה שׁלו כי־יהוה הוגה על רב־פשׁעיה עולליה הלכו שׁבי לפני־צר - Lamentations 25 3:32 - But though he cause grief , yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
כי אמ־הוגה ורחם כרב חסדו יָגָה Afflict, cause grief, g.. [8689] רָחַם Have compassion (on, up..
