- Leviticus 3 10:10 - And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean ;
ולהבדיל בין הקדשׁ ובין החל ובין הטמא ובין הטהור בָּדַל (make, put) difference,.. [8687] קֹדֶשׁ Consecrated (thing), de.. חֹל Common, profane (place).. טָמֵא Defiled, infamous, pol.. טָהוֹר Clean, fair, pure(-ness) - Genesis 1 7:2 - Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens , the male and his female : and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
מכל הבהמה הטהורה תקח־לך שׁבעה שׁבעה אישׁ ואשׁתו ומנ־הבהמה אשׁר לא טהרה הוא שׁנים אישׁ ואשׁתו - Isaiah 23 44:20 - He feedeth on ashes : a deceived heart hath turned him aside , that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say , Is there not a lie in my right hand ?
רעה אפר לב הותל הטהו ולא־יציל את־נפשׁו ולא יאמר הלוא שׁקר בימיני - Isaiah 23 42:25 - Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle : and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
