- Amos 30 1:13 - Thus saith the LORD ; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border :
כה אמר יהוה על־שׁלשׁה פשׁעי בני־עמון ועל־ארבעה לא אשׁיבנו על־בקעם הרות הגלעד למען הרחיב את־גבולם - Genesis 1 26:22 - And he removed from thence, and digged another well ; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth ; and he said , For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.
ויעתק משׁם ויחפר באר אחרת ולא רבו עליה ויקרא שׁמה רחבות ויאמר כי־עתה הרחיב יהוה לנו ופרינו בארץ - Psalms 19 25:17 - The troubles of my heart are enlarged : O bring thou me out of my distresses.

הרחיבי מקום אהלך ויריעות משׁכנותיך יטו אל־תחשׂכי האריכי מיתריך ויתדתיך חזקי - Habakkuk 35 2:5 - Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home , who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied , but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people :
ואף כי־היין בוגד גבר יהיר ולא ינוה אשׁר הרחיב כשׁאול נפשׁו והוא כמות ולא ישׂבע ויאסף אליו כל־הגוים ויקבץ אליו כל־העמים
