- Deuteronomy 5 11:16 - Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived , and ye turn aside , and serve other gods, and worship them;
השׁמרו לכם פן יפתה לבבכם וסרתם ועבדתם אלהים אחרים והשׁתחויתם להם - Deuteronomy 5 11:28 - And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known .
והקללה אמ־לא תשׁמעו אל־מצות יהוה אלהיכם וסרתם מנ־הדרך אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום ללכת אחרי אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם - Deuteronomy 5 31:29 - For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days ; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
כי ידעתי אחרי מותי כי־השׁחת תשׁחתון וסרתם מנ־הדרך אשׁר צויתי אתכם וקראת אתכם הרעה באחרית הימים כי־תעשׂו את־הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו במעשׂה ידיכם
