- Proverbs 20 7:2 - Keep my commandments, and live ; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
שׁמר מצותי וחיה ותורתי כאישׁון עיניך שָׁמַר Beward, be circumspect,.. [8798] מִצְוָה (which was) commanded(-.. חָיָה Keep (leave, make) aliv.. [8798] תּוֹרָה Law אִישׁוֹן Apple (of the eye), bla.. עַיִן Affliction, outward app.. - Exodus 2 16:28 - And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws ?
ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה עד־אנה מאנתם לשׁמר מצותי ותורתי - Jeremiah 24 6:19 - Hear , O earth : behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
